‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ Releases The First Movie Poster

Here is our first look at at the first poster released for the next sequel film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Altho The Twilight Saga: New Moon *just* opened in theaters, the promo push has already begun for the third film in The Twilight Saga movie franchise … behold:

I actually first saw this poster hanging at the movie theater when I went to see New Moon a couple of weeks ago. It’s not all that exciting but, then again, it is just a teaser poster. It does feature the film’s title logo very well, tho! Much like the first poster for Sex and the City 2 which we saw earlier today, this poster is meant to grab your attention … which I think it does quite well. New reports on Eclipse reveal that the film will make its debut in IMAX theaters (along with traditional movie theaters) when it premieres in June of next year. Still no word on production of the final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn … so I guess we’ll have to content ourselves with news about Eclipse. What do y’all think, Twilighters … do we like this poster?

Tiger Woods done stepped in it, honey. UsMagazine has released a voicemail a frantic Tiger Woods left one of his alleged mistresses warning that his wife may be on to him. Jaimee Grubbs, a 24-year-old cocktail waitress, told the tab she had her first of 20 wild sexfests with Woods in mid-April 2007, two days after she met him at a Las Vegas club. The 31-month affair was on-going as recently as October and on Nov. 24 — a day before The National Enquirer published a story about another alleged mistress of the billionaire — Tiger called Jaimee with a worried warning to expect a call from his Other Half.

Brangelina Author Ian Halperin Predicts Brad and Angelina Split

Author Ian Halperin, who penned Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, sat down with PopEater to discuss his book and his belief that the power couple will split within the next 15 to 18 months.

There is one especially interesting tidbit that might lend credence to the author’s theory of trouble in paradise. Halperin said: “I learned she recently filed an adoption request for a seventh child, and incredibly on the form it’s only Angelina Jolie’s name. Not Brad Pitt’s. If they are going to stay together, why isn’t his name on the form. Apparently the papers were filed in Syria.”

Halperin has interviewed 900 people and is puzzled by the fact that there hasn’t been anything written about the couple in book form. He said, “There’s been so many stories about them, so many rumors and innuendo, and I really feel I was able to get the story behind the story and break it down properly.”

Alec Baldwin: “My Career Has Been A Complete Failure. I Quit!”

Alec Baldwin will hang up his acting shoes after his 30 Rock contract ends, calling his career a “complete failure.”

“I don’t have any interest in acting anymore,” Baldwin revealed in an interview wih Men’s Journal this week. “Movies are part of my past. It’s been 30 years. I’m not young, but I have time to do something else.”

He’s starred in flicks like The Hunt for Red October and Glengarry Glen Ross, but despite his success, his Baldwin characterizes his acting career as a “complete failure.”

“It’s a difficult thing to say, but I believe it,” Baldwin said. “The goal of moviemaking is to star in a film where your performance drives the film, and the film is either a soaring critical or commercial success, and I never had that.”

Baldwin, 51, is the star of 30 Rock, the critically acclaimed sitcom that’s earned multiple Emmys for him and the show. His latest project, It’s Complicated, stars Steve Martin and Meryl Streep and will open Christmas Day.

Tiger Woods in Car Accident, Released from Hospital

Tiger Woods has reportedly been released from an Orlando, Florida hospital after his Cadillac SUV was found stuck in a tree near his home.

The pro golfer is said to be released with mild facial lacerations, according to CNN.

The Florida Highway Patrol reports that Woods had just pulled out of his driveway when his car struck a fire hydrant, leaving the front of his vehicle stuck in a tree, the news channel reports.

The car wreck is under investigation and, according to a statement obtained by CNN, the accident does not appear to have involved alcohol.

Bulls Escape Tom Cruise & Cameron Diaz Movie Set

Actor Tom Cruise and his co-star Cameron Diaz, who have been on a short break, are set to resume filming their upcoming movie Knight & Day. On Sunday, seven bulls that are being used in the movie broke free from the Cadiz, Spain set.

Two women received minor injuries as the stampeding bulls ditched their confines. The powerful animals, undoubtedly looking for a change of pace, escaped from their downtown location and headed for the beach. Director Jose Luis Escolar isn’t sure how the bulls broke free. Perhaps they had a little help?

Cruise and Diaz were not on the set when the incident occurred. As far as production goes, filming was to start back up today but local government spokesman Ignacio Romani reports that it has been halted until further notice — presumably until order can be restored in Cadiz.
